About UsMornings can be crazy and sometimes it can be hard to make sure you have a healthy, hearty breakfast! That’s why as a mom with a baby, I love having something pre-made that I can just heat up in the morning. This recipe for Baked Oatmeal is something that everyone can love for morning breakfast – or let’s be real – even an afternoon snack! Plus it is a one stop breakfast meaning you can get all the ingredients you need right at our store.
So what are we waiting for – let’s get baking!
Start off by preheating your oven to 350 degrees.
Then combine your oats, sugar, nuts, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl and mix well. I used Bob’s Red Mill Organic Rolled Oats, Woodstock Brown Sugar, Pecan Halves, Frontier Co-op Cinnamon, Rumford Baking Powder, and Redmond Real Salt – all purchased at the ODC!
Then whisk the milk, eggs, and vanilla. I used South Mountain Creamery Whole Milk and Alderfer Pastured Organic Eggs.
Add the milk mixture and melted butter to the oat mix. Stir well until combined.
Spray or grease your baker. I used Pampered Chef’s 1-qt enameled cast iron pan. Pour mixture into baker.
Bake oatmeal for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the oat mixture is set. Cool slightly.
Enjoy your bowl of oatmeal topped with your favorite fruit or with milk! It also reheats in the microwave great so no worries if you have leftovers!
